Topic: Communications during the American Revolution
Dr. Michael Gunther
Associate Professor of History
Georgia Gwinnett College
Dr. Michael Gunther was raised in Lake George, a tourist destination in upstate New York known for its connections to the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. He earned his B.A. in History from Ithaca College, and his Ph.D. in History from Lehigh University. Dr. Gunther has taught courses in U.S. History, Colonial and Revolutionary America, Military History, and Environmental History at Georgia Gwinnett College since 2011, and is now the interim chair of its History and Geography Department.
